Frames

Lightweight, strong woods such as Alder, Birch, or Mahogany are used to build the instrument frame. The wood has a hand rubbed finish and incorporates magnetic catches to keep legs secure while folded up.

Metal legs mounted on a wooden frame are an option on the larger instruments. Metal legs are lighter than wood, more durable, and very sturdy.

Basses can be built with a short frame and curved resonators or with a tall frame and straight resonators. An adjustable height stand with folded legs is provided with tall frame basses.
